Three men allegedly raped a 20-year-old student of the College of the Holy Cross in her Worcester dorm room Saturday morning after an intercollege dance on campus.

None of the men attend Holy Cross, but they did go to the open dance Friday night at the Hogan Campus Center as guests, said Worcester police Sergeant Kerry F. Hazelhurst.
At least one of the men attends Becker College and may have learned of the dance through a consortium of colleges in Worcester.
The girl, a junior, told police that she met Edward Kingori, a 21-year-old from Worcester, at the dance and that they exchanged phone numbers.
At about 3 a.m. Saturday, Kingori called the girl and she invited him and two friends to her dorm room, she told police. The three men then raped her, the girl told police.
The student called Holy Cross campus police Saturday morning, and Worcester police were notified. Police said they were able to trace the phone number Kingori gave the girl, and she identified him as one of the rapists. He was arrested Wednesday.
Later, police also charged Bizmark Obeng-Mensah, 21, of Worcester, and Alie Samura, 19, of Boston. Samura attends Becker College in Worcester, and Kingori and Obeng-Mensah attended the college at one point. Police believe they may have learned of the campus dance from the intercollege network.
The three men were each charged with three counts of rape. Kingori and Obeng-Mensah were arraigned in Worcester District Court yesterday. Information about their pleas was not available last night.
Samura is expected to be arraigned today.
Holy Cross officials did not return calls for comment last night, but released a statement to media outlets that read: "This particular event at the Hogan Campus Center was open to Holy Cross students, students of the Consortium of Worcester Colleges, and accompanied guests who were signed in. The crime was swiftly investigated by Worcester police together with the College's Department of Public Safety. We are providing the victim with all available support and care, and are actively reviewing this very serious incident."

Kenyan Phd Student Arrested for Threats in School
Well people, when you go to Rome, just try and eat and dress with whatever fiber they are on; in short try and learn the rules.
According to Jefferson county, U.S. Marshals arrested a Lamar student on federal charges Thursday. He's accused of threatening his college, all because he's not being allowed to graduate.
U.S. Marshals picked up Daniel Siringi from the Jefferson County jail on a federal warrant. He's charged with sending a threatening email. Lamar police arrested Siringi Wednesday, for making the terrorist threat. It was sent to the president of Beaumont Lamar University. Siringi is a chemical engineering doctoral student there. Police say, he's upset because he was told he would not be able to graduate this weekend. An affidavit states Siringi threatened serious bodily injury to the public at the commencement.
"I was a little bit shocked that a doctorate student would do this. It was kind of alarming because I know some people who are going to be graduating Saturday," said chemical engineering undergraduate student Jeremy Quiros.
Let's hope and assume our brother blood pressure just went beyond boiling point.

Before We Kill Each Other For Our Politicians.... Read This Book
The British eight-year campaign against the Kikuyu uprising involved two prongs. One was a military offensive against the rebels(Mau-Mau), who had taken to the mountain forests and fought a guerrilla war from there. It took over two years and 20,000 British troops, supported by the British air force, to subdue the insurrectionists, who fought largely with only homemade weapons against Britain’s vastly superior firepower. And even then, the insurgents may have held out even longer if not for Kikuyu who assisted the British. (These were the Ngati or Home guards. We are talking of the Njonjos,Njiris,Chief Luka in Lari,Nyachae's,Michukis just to name a few). For such “meritorious services,” these Kikuyu, who became known as loyalists, were handsomely rewarded materially with land.
What the Kikuyu suffered and endured at the hands of the British colonialists and loyalists in the detainee and labor camps and enclosed villages constitutes a significant portion of Elkins’s book. From the beginning there were the “screenings,” the colonialists’ preferred term for ruthless torture, designed to get information from a Mau Mau suspect and persuade him or her to confess Mau Mau affiliation. Methods of “persuasion” involved beatings, electric shock, cigarette burns and fire, and “bottles (often broken), gun barrels, knives, snakes, vermin, and hot eggs...thrust up men’s rectums and women’s vaginas,” Elkins writes.
But despite this contradiction, the British continued to employ brutality and terror. This was particularly true of people the British considered “hard core” Mau Mau men, against whom there was a great deal of “emasculating” violence involving castration. Men in some of these camps wrote letters, which Elkins found during her research, describing pliers that were used to crush testicles before they were literally ripped off.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are still fighting with the loyalist in 2008, only now they just wear a different kind of uniform called the coalition governement.

Kenyan Killed In Baltimore,MD
It is my greatest regret to inform you of the untimely death of Alexander Waiganjo Njuguna, 29, of Baltimore Maryland USA.
Alex is the son of Rose Njeri Njuguna of Baltimore. As far as we know right now, Alex was murdered by unknown assailants in his apartment sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning of this week. The police will give us more information hopefully by Tuesday.
Kenyan Jailed For 66 years for Rape
A HIV-positive Kenyan man has been jailed for 66 years by a US court for raping two teenage girls two years ago.
William N Karanja, 34, received 40 years for two counts of second-degree rape, 20 for two counts of second-degree sex offence and six for two counts of knowingly attempting to transmit HIV.
Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge, Louise G Scrivener, also gave Karanja 15 years for three counts of recklessly endangering a minor, to be served concurrently. "I believe from the evidence that Karanja is a sexual predator," Scrivener said.
And as Karanja began his long stretch in a US federal jail, it emerged yesterday that he had a history of sexual offences dating back to his youth. A close relative who spoke to The Standard in London said: "Karanja has previously raped women in Kenya, but his victims were too scared to come forward. My family is devastated, 66 years in a foreign jail, ailing with HIV-AIDS, it's most regrettable, our heart goes to his wife and the victims," the cousin, who did not wish to be named, said.
According to The Gazette, a Montgomery County newspaper, the incident happened in June 2003 when Karanja invited the then-14-year-old girls to a 'party' in his apartment on 13200 block of Bristlecone Way, Germantown in Montgomery County.
When the girls arrived that night, they realized they were the only guests and called another male friend to join them, Assistant State Attorney, Mary Herdman, said. Karanja supplied the girls and their friend with alcohol, and all three juveniles ultimately passed out in various locations in the apartment.
At about 1 a.m., a neighbour said he heard a girl screaming "No" from inside Karanja's apartment. He looked in through a window and saw Karanja having sex with one of the girls while she attempted to push him away, Herdman said. When police arrived, they found all three children partially or completely naked and unresponsive to the officers' attempts to wake them up.
Both victims, now 16, made emotional appeals to the court. "He stole from me in order to get pleasure for himself," one said. "I was violated, taken advantage of and humiliated". The other said tearfully: "I think there should be no sympathy for him." [Passage omitted]
